Carrie Underwood and several other "artists" seemed really uncomfortable in their skin on stage. I guess that's what happens when you are a concocted, contrived star instead of someone that actually hones their skills in the studio and on the road. sigh

Not a big Carrie Underwood fan, but i gotta disagree, she rocked that place harder and more comfortably than anyone other than Radiohead.

She and her band tore that lame show up!

She was stiff as all hell IMO and looked unsure of herself, like she forgot some words or something. I loved her band though, they were tight.

I think I gotta go with Ugot here. Carrie Underwood kinda threw down.

...But then I think Alison Krauss and Robert Plant were pretty good, too -- musically, if not performance-wise.

The Hip Hop artists were the worst part of the show. When once Hip Hop was new and fresh it now is just cringeworthy. It was stale and boring.
When pre-teen and teenage middle class white girls in the suburbs can recite and rap along, i think besides the tired music and raps they also lost the tired "street cred" these artists seem to both love and hate and feed on.

I was furious as well. ...Who thinks up these ridiculous collaborations?

Yeah, those collaborations really are ridiculous.
