There was a video of Nick throwing back a shot of 151 Proof alcohol at a show recently after doing this article. Now, I don't believe a shot constitues relapse but if he was having medical problems like cardiomyopathy, which is extremely severe, than no alcohol at all should be on his agenda IMO, but that's just me. When AJ did Oprah a few years back, he let her camera crew follow him to a local bar he used to always frequent and talked about how he basically used to live there when he was an alcoholic. In some other interview, he was drinking an O'Douls non-alcoholic beer, so I think he's got some very good willpower going on there. Good for both of them in the long run for trying to better themselves and hope they continue on the right path. I was sad to hear that Brian's son was diagnosed with a pediatric heart condition called Kawasaki Syndrome and was even more surprised to find out that that was what John Travolta's son had been diagnosed with. But, Brian's son is doing better from what I've heard; he's a cutie pie too.




I have to hand it to them for still making music even though Kevin left to become a daddy on their last album "Unbreakable", but they are still touring for screaming fans throughout the world. Man, I was a hardcore fan of BSB and still enjoy them even though i didn't really like their last album too much. Hell, I don't care, "All I Have To Give" is still one of my all-time favorite ballads to this day. It's just such a great song.



This performance was on 11-16-2008 at the TRL Finale Show in NYC so from the amount of people singing along, it looks to me like they may still be relevant to quite a few of their fans. Instead of now just making music to break records, they seem to be continuing to do it for the love of their fans and the music itself...props to them for continuing to be true to their craft even if the media spotlight isn't shining as brightly on them nowadays. Real artists don't need loads of hype to be good.

It's from his mom's perspective and it's pretty good. My favorite part was when she wrote about how AJ became this recluse and would lock himself in his room for days doing drugs. One day he missed a group meeting and after trying to call him and getting no answers, Kevin and Brian went to his house and when he didn't answer the door, they had to break in and threatened to drag his ass to rehab and said they would fight him if they had to. I don't know how much Brian was going to do (he's not much bigger than AJ), but Kevin ain't no little dude and played football in high school, so I know he could whip AJ's ass if he found it necessary to do so. I think he went and got help after that little 'intervention'.

Brian's a little guy, I don't think he could've done much against AJ. Especially not with 'Jay having the coke high strength advantage. But Kevin's a big mother, and one tough dude. Security back in the day would joke about how Kevin's bodyguard was a redundancy...

I actually don't think that's their strongest recent performance. Howie sounds ill, Brian's mic is too quiet and AJ's is way too loud.

Hell, I dont understand with the teachings of how bad drugs are people just steady go for them.

Incomplete was ON the Never Gone album which came out in JUNE of 2005. I fucking went to their concert the year after I THINK I would remember what year it was!

They sucked ass by the way and Nick was the size of about six elephants. I could hear other fans complaining about how bad they were around me, too.

I love the show "Intervention" on A&E because they do backstories on the addicts and you see why many of them are addicted to drugs. Some very sad stories on that show. I have yet to see a single episode where the addict grew up in a loving, stable family and nothing bad ever happened to them in their younger years. AJ admitted that he became a hardcore alcoholic and drug user after his grandparents died. His father was never really in his life, so he was being raised by his mom and his grandparents, so when they died, he became extremely depressed and turned to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain of losing two of the most important people in his life. Anyone who has seen that show "House of Carters" knows how Nick and his siblings became soo wacked out...their parents jacked them up for real.
