Hi,
Way back in Jan 04 DavidEye posted the topic "Who remembers these forgotten R&B songs from the 80s?" and mentions the following:

***"The One You Love" by Luscious Dame (1984)---I was totally in love with this fine lady!! She was on Motown,and her debut album was called 'More Than You Can Handle'.I used to read Black Beat and Right On magazines,and put her pics all over my wall...lol...she never made it big,but this song was hot.A nice,midtempo jam.


My sister and I have been looking for this song/album for years. She still has it on a VHS that she recorded off of BET in '84 but is degrading quickly. And her cassette is melted at this point.

Does anyone know where to find this music? Much thanks to anyone who has any info!

A little more info - I've been spelling her name wrong for all these years. It's LUSHUS DAIM.

Do you guys remember the second single "The One You Love"? I love that song!! I really thought it would be a big hit for her.
