This has probably been discussed a million and one times before but I gotta ask for the current consensus. Can someone bring me up to speed and educate me on this..
What has Beyonce done or not done that some many people dislike her? I havent heard many songs from her albums and am not a big follower of her music but am real curious about the number or posts about her(not just this site). What I can remember vaguely is when Destiny's Child started, people talked about her and accused her of trying to be in the front and take the limelight from the other girls. True or not? Not sure. I noticed during certain interviews she talked and during others she would say nothing at all and the others would do the interview. I wondered if this was so people would not continue to think she was trying to take over the group. Is the dislike a carryover from when she was a teenager in that group? I guess I'm also trying to figure out what is up with the interpretation of the way she's handling her career vs the way others in the industry are. Is she at a point now where she can't do anything right?

It's less her fault and more the medias for making her look like a huge talent. She is just another hot babe with a good voice. She is not a great star.

But she doesn't write her own songs, her songs are ordinary (does any radio still play "Baby Boy"? Do nowadays teenagers want to listen to this crap?)

The only good thing is, that she looks fine.

Because the tramp represents everything that is wrong with the music industry for the past 15 years. She's all flash, very little substance. Nothing about her voice distinguishes her from all the other young gals out here but people, for some reason, put her on a pedestal. Like she's this generation's Chaka Khan or something. Everyone doesn't dislike her. Her fans defend her to the death!

She's very talented but it was hard not to see her face wherever you went, and she NEVER took a break the way stars before her did that's why.
