New Aaliyah tribute cd

"I Care 4 U" is being released next week, Dec. 10. It's a mixture of hits and new songs. I believe most of the songs have been reworked with special guests. The tracklisting is as follows:

1. Back & Forth
2. Got To Give It Up (Remix)
3. Are You That Somebody
4. One In A Million
5. Erica Kane
6. All I Need
7. Don't Worry
8. At Your Best
9. More Than A Woman
10. I Care 4 U
11. Try Again
12. Come Over
13. Miss You
14. Don't Know What To Tell You

If you remove numbers 4,5,11,20,and add U Messed Up thats the exact cd-r I made last year upon hearing the tragic news of her death.

Reworked? Sounds like a horrible idea! Had Aaliyah only recorded her 3 full albums not to mention her hits on soundtracks, she could have released a weighty greatest hits album. Tron has a great tracklisting there. Compared contemporaries like Brandy and Monica (who had their first CDs come out around the same time), Aaliyah had a lot of hits! I don't like the idea of special guests and more new songs then old. If they really want to sell CDs, they should release a proper hits CD and not unfinished material.

I agree. But I don't think this will stand as her greatest hits...hopefully. I'm hoping this is just a tribute album of sorts.
