They are one of those bands of which I was never a fan, but for some reason had all their albums.
Heaven Or Las Vegas is my favorite.

Me me me, I'm a fan since the 80s. Treasure was my favorite album. Even got to see them live in the early 90s. Also check out the Liz Fraser sung tracks on the first This Mortal Coil album. Bascially Cocteau Twins under a different name.

I love them. Esp their last two albums. I think Four-Calendar Cafe is my fave.
Elizabeth Fraser did not do much after the break-up, except a few very well-placed guest stints on tracks like Teardrop by Massive Attack and This Love with Craig Armstrong. I want more Fraser, damnit.

And I love how their influence filter through current day music;

Garlands didn't start out as a heavy favorite album wise, but slowly became a favorite.
From all of the Strange Fruit's I've heard, their version is the creepiest to me. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Yeah, like them alot. They're a bit new to me, although their name was always bandied about by the mags I read -- Spin in particular held an interview with Perry Farrell around the time of his 1st album. He said that all modern women in rock are influenced by two women: Elisabeth Fraser and Rickie Lee Jones.
Treasure is the favorite so far (also have Heaven or Las Vegas.) . Amelia is the favorite. Haven't seen them live, but saw her at the Hollywood Bowl in '06 when Massive Attack was in town. Going with Garlands as the next step...
