Yeah but I don't give a phuck. It's funky nonetheless. Hell, there were too many Motown songs that were repetitive but in my opinion, the more repetitive the better. lol

It's a better song than "Superstition" in every way. Funkier, better subject matter, J5 on backup... sheer perfection. One of my top 3 songs from Mr. Wonder.

"You Haven't Done Nothin'" makes "He's Misstra Know-It-All" sound like a slap on the wrist. I'd believe Tricky Dick if he said he decided to resign after hearing it. lol

I don't see You Haven't Done Nothin' as a ripoff of Superstition really. I mean other than having a similar arrangement, and instruments, its a completely beast. The drum track with the bass has a heavy hip hop-ish kind of feel, and the clav riff only vaguely comes close to Superstition. I actually wish stevie would compose more funk numbers in this vein, its his own brand of 'funk'

Great performance! I'd love to have a DVD set of the Grammy performances from the 70s lol

It's not a rip-off the only way it can sound similar is because of the Clavinet and Stevie loves to play songs on the Clavi e.g in the key of D# and stuff like that because it allows him to jam and it gives that unique percussion kinda way of playing.

And I love this performance and song. SUPER funky.
