3 days ago I tried to make out which songs Maurice White wrote for them. I know he produced several albums but I'm not sure which songs he wrote. Do you?

He wrote or co-wrote all of their Columbia recordings. He was the main producer on all of them.

OK, maybe that was a generalization... I don't know, you can look up on Allmusic.com and google "The Emotions" then go on their albums and then see who wrote what, lol.

That song makes me teary-eyed sometimes, powerful lyrics. I hate hearing it on the radio because the end often gets cut.
"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

He produced the flowers, rejoice, sunbeam, and the album following sunbeam(can't think of the name right now) but a very good underrated album for the emotions. I am sure he had a hand in writing most of the songs. I have all 4 albums on vinyl. I'll research them later.
Don't laugh at my funk
