well if it wasn't for La Bamba Los Lobos wouldn't have blown up in the 80's even though they were a great band before that and Gary Bussey wouldn't have made such a cool movie because of the crash...

but really for his time and being 17 years old Ricardo was a kick-ass guitar player...check out his "Live From Pomona Junior High"

Buddy Holly wrote some songs that bordered on abusive imo...i like them
