Says so on Saadiq's website, unless he's lying.

Website

Bio Said:

Shortly after high school, Saadiq won a chance to join Prince and Sheila E. on their 1984 "Parade" world tour.

plus, the 'Parade' tour was in 1986,not 84 lol A few of the members of Tony Toni Tone were in Sheila E's band in 1986.A year later, the Tonys were gonna sign with Paisley Park Records but according to them "Prince kept frontin".They sing about this on their 1988 single "Born Not To Know".....

"things are gettin crazy,I ain't wearing Paisley"

But anyway....Raphael never played bass for Prince lol

I just heard "End Of The Road" yesterday and the melody really is similiar to "Love Don't Love Nobody".I can't believe I never noticed this before!
