OLD Nelly Furtado Interview Authorized and Held By Random Intelligence

Nelly was something else, back then. I kind of want her to reiterate a few of these points today to let skeptics beware of their presumptuous thoughts of her whole outlook on life. She's truly intelligent. This was kind of for someone like meow85 to examine. Take heed.

Growing up in Canada watching MuchMusic I've seen pretty much every interview of hers.

You're a Canadian? I didn't know that, bro. Well, that's cool. I'm guessing you don't like her all that much, either, judging from the tone of the post.

Oh. Her first two albums show that she's clearly a knowledgeable young lady. Perhaps, since she let go of some of her inhibitions on her 2006 release "Loose", some of her original fans seem to think Nelly Furtado has lost sight of what truly made her....erm....Nelly Furtado. I don't think so, though.

I think if you're looking for a popular producer who knows hip hop and world music, Timbaland makes total sense. I certainly wasn't surprised (or mad) at Loose.

Yeah. Me, too. I actually like some of the songs on that album. Just feel that her first two were better. I also feel that if Nelly had hooked up with Timbaland back in 2001 when he was in his prime, the outcome would have been better. Miss E. So Addictive is like the best album he ever produced.

Well I do enjoy that Timbaland/Furtado collision that happened around 2002.
