Wow, that's one whole lotta musics.
If I were a VIP with my own helicopter and could drop in and out as I please without having to do the crowd thing here's who I'd see. Groove Armada Throbbing Gristle Booker T & the DBT’s Michael Franti & Spearhead Thievery Corporation Bajofondo Paul McCartney ...and maybe just to see how she'd doing these days Amy Winehouse Conspicuous by its absence I did not see one reggae act on the bill. Thievery Corporation and Spearhead comes closest I guess. Now this is in April? Have they changed that? I've always heard how freakin'hot it can get out here in the palm dessert but I wouldn't think that would be in April. I've always heard how freakin'hot it can get out here in the palm dessert but I wouldn't think that would be in April. I can't speak for the first few years, but this will be my fourth and it's been in April as long as I can remember. I crave the desert heat, the wind turbines, the Joshua and palm trees, the sweat--it's mind-altering. Just bought my tickets. GoldenVoice has claimed they'll be releasing more acts in the next weeks. 110 degrees in the day, 30-40 at night, camping onsite. I bring E each year and haven't come close to needing it once. Oh shit, my hat done fell off | |
