As reported here yesterday (NET NEWS, 1/27), ABC RADIO NETWORKS has tapped GRAMMY award-winning singer and morning radio host BRIAN McKNIGHT for a syndicated evening show. TODAY, EMMIS Urban AC WRKS (98.7KISS)/NEW YORK became the first station to air the show, replacing its longtime night show, “KISSING AFTER DARK.”

Current WRKS evening host LENNY GREEN will work with McKNIGHT. ABC RADIO will offer THE BRIAN MCKNIGHT SHOW as part of its revised 24-hour “TOUCH” format service. Former KRBV/LOS ANGELES producer CELESSA CATCHAN will produce the project.
