OK, so it's a little twisted, as "love songs" go, but still, whilst it may not be a conventional "I love you, you love me" song, the sense of yearning and complete devotion to the cause is immense.
And I LOVE the image of a light that never goes out - such a simple phrase but very powerful.

(Maybe this post says more about ME than it does about love songs, eh?)
