I honestly believe that this record is the most sincere and moving piece of music ever recorded.
I play it only on very, very few occasions, because it's so special. I didn't even click on the YouTube clip.

A must-own for anyone with ears that work.

When I first bought some Coltrane it was on a whim. I'd never heard any of his stuff before, but I'd heard people raving about it. I'd consider the disc I bought one of my favourites. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I understand your sentiments, but c'mon now - one is hardly equipped to qualify that statement.

It's about as important as albums can be... pretty important!

For those who know, pure bliss.
For those who don't seek! One of the most "meditative" pieces of music I've ever heard. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

Oh I'm sure.As did Prince and Living Colour opening for the Rolling Stones. What's your point? Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

That's what i'm talking about. He is a great player, if not one of the best ever(never forget The Best:Charlie Parker).
It is a shame we don't get to talk about jazz music in this forum. Some of us are too obessed with pop music, rnb, derivative music, very superficial when it comes to music. I love A Love Supreme but i have to admit that most of the time i listen to The Giant Steps album.
