The Sparkle Soundtrack (70's )

Damn can someone tell me the name of that first song that they sung on the movie!??? The part where they were just breaking in, with all them singing?

Me and my brother were watching it and me and him were astounded, and we tried 2 look 4 the soundtrack but it is out of print. What is the name of it?

Paisley:

Sparkle is my all time favorite movie and the name of the song I think u're referring to is " "Hooked on your love," some of the other songs from the soundtrack are: Something he can feel,Look into your heart (Irene's solo debut song), I get high, jump, sparkle, loving u baby and rock with me. There were only 8 songs on the soundtrack all performed by Ms. Aretha Franklin. The soundtrack was orginally released in 1976 but was remastered in 1992, all songs were written and produced by Curtis Mayfield. I found the soundtrack at a used cd store.

I think you're referring to the song "Jump".This is one of the first numbers they perfrom, and the two guys are in the group at this point.Even though they do their own singing in the film, the soundtrack features Aretha Franklin singing all of the songs. It was produced by Curtis Mayfield and I think you can still find it.

No,"Jump To It" is a 1982 Aretha Franklin song. The song "Jump" features lyrics like "Jump! I hope my daddy don't call...Jump! We're gonna keep it in the groove".It's a funky, catchy number and when they perform it in the movie, the lead singer (not Irene Cara) really vamps it up,looking all sexy and flirting with the guys in the audience. They were on some kind of talent show.

Btw,did you guys know that,a few years ago, they were planning to make an updated version of this movie? Whitney Houston was gonna produce it,and Aaliyah was gonna star in it.
