Was there something weird going on with his face in this clip? Looks like the wrong shade of makeup was applied or something, first I thought it was just a shadow, but if you look at the color of his neck and then his face, it looks like someone was trying to make his skin tone a shade darker....:

Looks like it. He was on a soul train awards event about 10 years ago and they tried to darken him up. I heard in person, El's complexion is practically white and he has freckles.

Yeah but his complexion is just fine, it's him. Thats so dumb that they would try to darken him up. It's madness

Usually, it is the other way around. Makeup artists never have darker shades
