What about the Sticky and Sweet DVD? Is it being delayed, since she's continuing the tour?

I don't think it is. They probably wait till the ticket sales start and then they are gonna announce it.

Whilst one cant ignore the massive amount of money she will make from this, in fairness to her Prince did a residency at the O2 - that cuts costs hugely - and is why the savings can be passed on. Factor in that as Prince stayed in one place - unless you live in or around london you had travel and hotel costs to get there. madonna is clocking up quite a few cities in a lot of countries.

I dont blame Madonna for charging what she does. The tickets still sell - its simple supply and demand. People make next to nothing from records now, so they have to milk what revenue streams they can. I think at some point in future she should consider doing a residency of stripped back shows at somewhere like the O2 , where she can charge lower prices and give more fans a chance to see her live - but i dont see that happening while people are still willing to pay the big $$$ to see her.

I agree, the demand for Madonna's tours is huge. 10 months after a concert in Wembley Stadium, she's safely going to sell out 2 nights in O2 with the same show at those prices.

Apparently the Brazilian site, which announced the DVD would be out in March, is now saying that the DVD is pushed back until after the tour, along with the compilation. There might be a 4th single released from Hard Candy to fill the gap but personally I don't believe Warner would bother with that.

In much better news, Madonna announced dates in Serbia & Romania and added a second date for Oslo so she's going to perform on 3 nights in a row at the end of July, which hadn't happened since 2001.

Sounds interesting. If they don't release another single from 'Hard Candy',she should at least release a fun dance single for the summer. It doesn't have to be part of any album....just a fun track to promote the tour and tide her fans over until the next CD.Speaking of the next CD,there's a rumor that her next album will be a movie soundtrack.

Is it possible that she will have the biggest tour for two years in a row? lol

What a rip off price to see her at the 02 at this stage in her career....really no need to charge that price but she just keeps pushing it ...she should do something for her fans....in these time credit crunch ...does she need the money ....no....greed and she's sh*t all wires ...and..circus tricks.. lol lol lol

overpriced and overated ....but the british public will go see Britney fake ass for about the same price... lol
Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

The tour does not need any promo lol, she's selling out huge venues all across Europe (except France & Germany of course).

This year is like 2007, we won't have any new stuff but the big difference is that she's still on tour.

She's rumoured to contribute to the soundtrack of that Twilight sequel, but I doubt she's gonna do a full soundtrack as the first LN album.

And yes, she is gonna have the biggest tour for 2 years in a row for sure! biggrin

^I think there are zero chances for Prince to do Eastern European dates. You can only catch him Germany, if he actually bothers to tour Europe again.

I don't think she'll release a fun dance track just for the sake of it. She would have to use some HC outtakes, but normally her outtakes deserve to be outtakes and should not get released to a wider audience.

I'm still waiting for the SV2 album. And yeah, she's rumoured to give some of her songs to the Twilight movie?
But nothing's on safe ground and also we don't know whether or not it's a new song.

Looks like there are gonna be small changes in the show:

http://www.wmagazine.com/...-phill.htm

Arianne Phillips in an interview:
What's up next for you?
I designed the costumes for Tom Ford's directorial debut, A Single Man, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, which is forthcoming this fall. Right now I'm helping refurbish and create some new looks for Madonna's summer tour extension and I'm getting ready to attend the women's collections in Paris.

She's responsible for the Old School & Futuristic Rave costumes, and we all know Madonna sometimes used a different Old School outfit, so it's likely that that one is going to be spiced up.

Madonna added a date for Paris Bercy, so now this tour has 5 arena dates. Twice on the schedule she's doing 3 shows 3 consecutive days, that hadn't happened since DWT when the last 3 shows had to be rescheduled because of 9/11.

If its true that there are going to be changes that's great news. Not that S&S was a bad show but there were a coiple of songs that didnt go down well (Devil Wouldnt Recognise You) and some that she has played to death over the last few years (Hung Up, Ray of Light...great songs but we've heard her do the live soooo many times recently...Confessions, Live Earth, Radio 1 Bash, etc). Im going to the first night of the new leg, so it'll be great to see some song changes without knowing beforehand!

I want her to have a new song out this summer! A little "teaser single" aimed at the clubs....a song that could be added to the tour setlist. She regularly gets asked to submit songs to movies. She should finally do it.

well finally is exagerated, she always did it. Technically, I guess the last song she gave away for a movie was Jump and Vogue for The Devil Wears Prada.

But I know what you mean, another Beautiful Stranger or Into The Groove, right?
