Me too. It's very rare that an album with a million and one producers is even all that good, let alone great. It's sucks. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

MJ has always wanted to create music that is hip, distinctive, original, not the same product that you see on the assembly line. He once said something like that. I believe that he wants to reach out to the younger generation, but doesn't want to lose the fanbase he has since his career started. Therefore, he wants to create music that people of all ages can enjoy. Maybe, he is just testing tracks with T-Pain because between him and Lil Wayne, younger audiences dig them and they're that bridge to create a new fanbase.

I understand that he's a "pop" artist and to a certain extent,he's expected to keep up with the latest trends and styles.Nothing wrong with that.It just seems like he's trying too hard, repeating this same formula over and over.I mean, does he have to do a song with every "hot" hip hop or R&B artist? This has nothing to do with artistic inspiration. It looks like desperation. But I guess this is nothing new.Michael has always had the attitude of "Look how many famous friends I got"...."Look who I got on my album".The other day,I saw the "Liberian Girl" video and it just reinforced what Michael is all about...lol...also,notice at the end of the song "Whatever Happens",he has to make it clear that he's got Carlos on the song with him.

I guarantee you....whoever it is,those people will appear on the next Michael Jackson CD

First:----LOL, GOD, you overanazlying things and in other words you see things that do not exist, its a freaking common fact the carlos santana is on the albums credits, and any other fan who truly knows about music would know that its santana whos playing the guitar, so that " look who I got on my album" sentence is really silly, and for your information santana said that it was a dream came true for him to work with MJ, he doesn't need santana to get buzz about his new album....Mj doesn't need the help if he wants to create buzz about his album..in fact he is very smart when it comes to lauch a new record Second:--- I don't deny that Mj sometimes aims for commercials stuff and trends but who doesn't? and don't believe everything you read, I could show you a huge list of people who Probably worked with Mj on INVINICBLE and guess what? the majority of the list was proved to be False , it was all part of the a plan to get hype and buzz for the album back then ..... -----: Now back on topic about this silly statement continuously said by Prince fans that " MJ always want to top thriller", I really don't see the problem really, i believe that Mj wanted to top it artistic-wise Not sales-wise because he himslef knows that NO ONE can top thriller even himself, and as great artist you comepete against your preivous records , you want the next record to be greater than the previous record, why its a taboo for Mj to do this? I really don't understand, its the media and some people who want another thriller and the prime proof is that when Mj releases a new record then automatically compare it with thriller so the problem it not with Mj, its with people and the media. about Mj working with t-pain? sorry guys but MJ would take a song form someone who cleaning toilets or anyone down the street if he really loved the song, he would take the song no matter who the person is, he has always been like this and he will always be like this , bashing him because he worked with T_pain before hearing the final record is really ridiculous , listen to the record first then you will have the right to judge. Bye. MICHAEL JACKSON

In an interview published by CTVglobemedia, it was confirmed that T-Pain worked with Michael Jackson on 3 different tracks. This is what he said of the experience: It was weird when I first saw him because, you know, he's Michael Jackson! And then, after he started talking, he was like a regular cool guy." "I did two pieces with Michael Jackson, so I'm pretty much done; my list is all checked off... I just worked on [Michael Jackson's] new album. He actually invited me to his house. So I went to his house and it was pretty much that day where we just hung out. I never thought Michael Jackson would ever work with me. He actually sent for me, so that was kind of weird and cool at the same time." In Oct 2008 T-Pain announced he recorded two tracks for Michael probably between November 2008 and now. Whether or not any of these collaborations will appear on Michael Jackson's forthcoming album is unknown at this time-- Source: MJJR.net/CTVglobemedia/MJJCommunity News For now: Thumbs the hell down. But we'll see what that finished product sounds like..
