Well I guess that'll be another Michael Jackson album I'll leave sitting on the record store shelf. Whether he's on it or not, I'm sure the album will probably be dull.

I think this would turn out great. Remember Michael would be singing.

Knowing Michael, the songs that the talkative producers do sometimes won't make the final cut lol

My guess is: I think because of blabbermouths like T-Pain and others that worked with him, he gets mad and not release the tracks. Remember for example when "Xscape" got released on the internet without his permission and he got mad?

Right now, some MJ fans are mad that HMH leaked yet most of us downloaded it! lol Akon took it off because he talked too much. Now his album's flopping. Sucks to be him right now. And it's about to suck for T-Pain too. hah!

But if Michael really didn't want info getting out couldn't he just ask them not to talk to the media or better yet, have them sign a confidentiality agreement?

He does but only to an extent

Isn't T-Pain missing out on a ring leader gig for the circus somewhere? Barnum and Baily has some openings. He needs to get back to that.

I think MJ is just concerned on making hits not art.
That's why he chose the supposedly "hottest" producers out now sad

What does Prince have to do with this?

Michael's been getting criticism since he started working with Teddy Riley on Dangerous

but Prince DID work with Tony M, Carmen Electra, and TC Ellis lol

I say let's wait and see the final results

Then MJ should wake up and realize it's not the 80s anymore, if he works on an album for half a decade, info and tracks will start appearing on the internet. Not to mention that all of them would be positive buzz for someone who's been away for so long.

Last year,Carlos Santana did an on-line chat where he revealed that he is playing guitar on a new MJ song produced by Quincy Jones. Why aren't we hearing more news like this?! THIS is the type of news that sounds promising.THESE are the types of musicians that Mike should be working with.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. It is good to know a person's expectations before you work with them. Same with a job. Therefore, he probably fired them and the project. Again, I am just guessing that's what happened. It's not carved in stone.

Or he got them out of the kitchen before the heat got too hot, meaning he just egged them on. lol That Lady Ga-Ga producer said he didn't care what MJ did with his records, he was just glad to work with him. lol

I've only heard of two tracks to Lady Gaga and her style seems to be girls night out let's party with the boys type, a free spirit. Her style wouldn't fit MJ at all, not at all.

I meant the melodies itself and the beat. Doesn't the lyric "just dance" sound like "just beat it"

If mj sang those melodies with his own words it could have worked too. I've always said Akon has a great ear for a melody

At least Lady Ga-Ga's producer didn't go in there with high expectations for MJ was calling the shots and he was just glad to be there.

Can beggars be choosy at this point?

MJ is sort of in an impossible situation....he works with the hip producers/"/writers singers" of the day and he gets criticized. So what should he do? Try to work with more traditional pop producers, like a David Foster? The results could be dreadfully boring? When was the last time Quincy made an album? Also, chances are that he might work with all these people and than scrap it all and work with lesser known names.

There is the possiblity that MJ could relase a truly brilliant album but I'm stating to think it will be yet "Invincible", which is mostly forgettable but passable and only loved by hardcore.
