It's a good song, they actually played this quite a bit on our local stations back then. The video is a little campy, but the song isn't really - just a cool track.

Really a very good song. I actually prefer it to the original, though Kirsty MacColl is the better vocalist I'm sure.

I love Tracey's entire album You Broke My Heart in 17 Places. It's my fifth favorite LP of 1983. She does the 60s girl group sound very well.

Is that cd hard to get ahold of?

A fun pop song. Not super obscure. I also heard that some of Kristy's original vocals are actually on Tracey's version.

The album is readily avilable on Amazon and not badly priced (remastered and with bonus tracks but also a huge border that makes the album art look small).

I LOVED THAT SONG! I was in the second half of my freshman year of high school (1984), and this song was on KC Kasem's countdown for many weeks, along with Hall & Oates' Adult Education and Let the Music Play (Shannon)...
