Obscure Jam of the Day: "Digging Your Scene" by The Blow Monkeys

This Jam is from 86. I always thought they had potential.

I have their Greatest Hits album "Choices"

this one and "Out With Her" are wonderful

They weren't that successful in the states but in the UK, they had 6 top 40 singles and released 5 albums

The album and single version sounds better than the video...I dont know why they cut out all the high pictched background vocalists in the video.

Yeah, top 20 in the U.S. back in '86 so it was getting played nationally at the time.

Thanks for this!! I never knew this existed, I'm really diggin' his version, (no pun intended). I am trying to take elements from the orginal version and place it into this version, like the sax. Not to much just that sax intro.
