Lily Allen is the latest artist to have made her album free for streaming on MySpace Music, a week before its release on February 10.

The second album from the British singer and songwriter, ‘It's Not Me, It's You’ was recorded in England's Cotswolds and at Eagle Rock Studios in Los Angeles. Allen wrote and recorded the album's 12 songs with producer Greg Kurstin, who previously worked with her on three tracks for her 2006 debut ‘Alright, Still’.

Allen has a history of success with MySpace, attracting thousands of fans as she first started posting demos on the site in November 2005.

To hear ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’, head to myspace.com/lilymusic now.

I like her stuff! All I had known about her was what I read on Perez Hilton, so this is a pleasant surprise!

Lily Allen's New Album Gets Bargain Price

Feb 6
Link

Lily Allen isn't giving away her new CD, but at $3.99, it seems pretty close.

The 23-year-old British star is teaming up with MySpace Music and Amazon.com in a promotion that will offer her sophomore CD, It's Not Me, It's You, for that low price until Feb. 16. The CD is out Tuesday. MySpace Music has already been offering a free preview.

Allen is also planning to promote the album with free concerts in London, Tokyo and New York City. While the Manhattan venue has been revealed — the show will be held Tuesday at the Bowery Ballroom — fans have to go to MySpace for the location of the other two events.

New CDs are usually about $10 to $20 in retail stores and on some online sites.

I really liked the new album. Thought i was really gonna hate it; as i wasnt too keen on her first album. This album is vast improven as it is very experimental. Gonna be a good year for her!

I listened to it. Maybe it has to grow on me, but I enjoyed the first album better
