My Rick James find

I was so excited when I found this yesterday. It is BRAND NEW still and never played. The store I went to yesterday had about 10 and I bout 3. I put one on ebay to see how it would sell. I'm keeping the others.

17 is not my favorite song, but finding a mint condition 45 is a rare case in this day and time.

I used to have this 45 back when it first came out about a month before the album was released. When the album was released, I bought it and gave the 45 to a friend.

If you notice the part printed on the 45....In album "Shower of Hits".....that part was wrong because when the album did come out, it was called "Reflections". I remember looking all over the record store that day looking for an album that said "Shower of Hits". lol

Love the guitar work on this cut, especially on the six minute 12" version

I love "17". It's a great track. It was probably the last "synthesiser" sounding track he done that I cared for

Oh hell yeah! That's my alltime favorite Rick James song. And you know it blends in really well with "Give It To Me Baby". It'll make your ass move before your brain has a chance to think about it. lol
