Watched this on Youtube about a week or so ago. It's an interesting interview with Eddie too. IIRC, there's a soul music site which has an interview with Eddie Kendricks & David Ruffin together, around the time they released the Ruffin/Kendrick album, which is worth checking out. If I find the link I'll add it here.

Eddie was a very independent person even within the confines of Motown. Berry and Motown didn't want him (or any other Motown artist) to do a "Mary Wells" on them. lol

Here's the interview I was talking about with Eddie Kendricks & David Ruffin. You can check it out here You'll need Real Player or Real Alternative to be able to listen though.

Were Eddie's 'Love Keys' & 'I've Got My Eyes On You' (which was for the Ms Dixie label) ever released onto CD?. I know Vintage 78 and some of the tracks from 'Something More' where, along with the Motown-Select re-issues of his solo albums for Motown (which are certainly worth buying in my opinion).
