Arcadia or Power Station? I had both albums, but was more into Arcadia.
ARCADIA "Election Day" "Goodbye is Forever" (my fave) POWER STATION "Some Like it Hot" (still a great song) Tula in the video was way "Bang a Gong"

though power station had a few deep songs, arcadia was clearly deeper when it came to lyrics

I'd have to go with Power Station. I could never really get into side 2 of So Red The Rose (boy, I just dated myself there ) but I can play Power Station's first album beginning to end even to this day. Facebook, I haz it - https://www.facebook.com/Nikster1969

I'm going to cheat and say both. I clearly remember back in '85 playing both frequently and alternating. Then probably went through phases of playing one more than the other then switching again, but in the end I loved the rock sounds of Power Station and the ambience of Arcadia equally. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I have to say Arcadia. I thought it was a quality effort from front to back, as opposed to the PowerStation album which I thought had more filler.

'So red the rose' also have a great video compilation...and the production on the album was way ahead of it's time....produced by the late great Alexander Sadkin....the sounds at the start of 'lady ice' are amazing...

I'm with you there. Besides "Some Like It Hot"and "Bang a Gong" I don't remember the rest of the Power Station album doing much for me...or even remembering the songs. Power station could play some good tunes, but Arcadia seemed to have more "artistic vision".
