I like her attitude on this song. She really talks alot of shit
fake hair in the back, and green contacts? but she's really just playing around.I recall an interview where she said that this song isn't for real."I don't walk around with a gat in my purse!",she insisted."I only said that because it rhymes".

The last good year in hip hop according to you, haha. 1993: The last solid year of hip-hop before the flaws started to show. 1. So many different types of rap were played on FM radio, at most house parties, clubs, on Yo! MTV Rap, The Box, BET's Rap City, etc. 2. The west coast were on top (especially with the G-Funk sound). 3. GET THIS: gangsta rap actually had a sense of humor (especially if you consider The Geto Boyz). 4. Tracks at 132 BPM actually existed (THINK: Miami Bass sound)!!!

She's also in one of my fave scenes from Boyz N The Hood, albeit in a non-speaking role.

I liked "Black Pearl," but my favorite single of hers (after "You Can't Play..." of course) was "IBWin' with My Crewin'": "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Cinnie said: RipHer2Shreds said: Not even the title track? What the hell, I totally missed this one. It wasn't a huge hit, but it got a decent amount of play on the video channels here in the states. It also has Big Bub (formerly of Today) on vocals. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
