I always dug those tunes. Why do you wish you were into them before now?

Wow, hard to believe that 20 years ago, the 80's were ENDING.

That's an eclectic mix. I was digging these tunes at that time, if memory serves.

eye Wish U Heaven -- Prince
Black Steel In The Hour of Chaos -- Public Enemy
Girl I'll House You -- The Jungle Brothers
Bob George -- Prince (after I'd finally found my musical Holy Grail, The Black Album)
Ain't No Half Steppin' -- Big Daddy Kane

and many more . . .

I was 5 going on 6 that year. I like a lot of songs from 1989, but the ones I remember liking during that time were:

Pump Up the Jam-Technotronic
Downtown (forgot the name of the group)
Real Love-Jody Watley
Dinosaur
Wishing Well-Terence Trent D'arby
Buffalo Stance
Iko Iko
Circle in the Sand
Locomotion
Like a Prayer
some song called Holiday (not madonna's song nor it's remix)

I discovered 1989 songs from Madonna, Janet, Paula, Karyn, Jody a few years later though
