Motown 25 - Lip Synced
Grammys 1988 "comeback" - Lip Synced
Super Bowl - Lip Synced
MTV 1995 "comeback" - Lip Synced
Soul Train 1995 "comeback" - Lip Synced
CBS MSG 2001 "comeback" - Lip Synced

Sure there was a moment here or there in that 2001 where the mic was on. Same with the grammys - but his voice sounded like shit! Which tells everyone the guy is a Studio Musican.

Every Major TV performance was Lip Synced - Now we are at the point of not even performing because he can't dance anymore! That last 2001 Concert they clipped both nights performances together and just edited -back and forth inbetween the dancing so it would make it appear he could still do that!

(((( 100% Proof = The Billie Jean Peformance )))) WATCH The Microphone - appear and disappear from his hand!!! lol eek

http://www.youtube.com/wa...2nTSbHfJvk

It's IN his Hand.... THEN It's NOT in his Hand - You can see they had a problem with it going back and forth so much that they had to use a cut away shot of the crowd with a fan holding a sign... to make it all work! lol

The World has known since his Solo Career started that the guy can't sing live! When the mic is turned on he sounds like shit! If he didnt he wouldnt LIP SYNC his WHOLE Solo Career from His Prime - To his Fall.

No excuses!! Turn the microphone ON and just SING! Very simple and all of you know if he could - he would. You dont do this smoke & mirrors crap for every major event if there isn't something your hiding!

Now.. You can't "lip sync" dancing and thats why YOU wont ever see him perform again! All YOU will see is him wearing something goofy - tipping off the press - tipping off YOU GUYS - going somewhere and then hoping someone will talk about it online or hopefully get on the news! rolleyes

Nice Career!
lol

since the start of his career?

what about these performances?

Where were you in the 70's?, i wish i was wasn't fooled so easy all this time.

Were you there for the Triumph, Victory or Bad Tours? did you attend any MJ gigs in the 70's. it's a given he's not what he was, but who would be? after all the shit he's been through.

I'll believe my own eyes an ears over some nerd typing away in their moms basement, waiting to drown when she gets out of the bath.

Wasn't that Soul Train 1992 where he performed "Remember The Time" sitting in a chair but still not live?

And of course, 90% of the HIStory tour was lipsynched as well.

That chair performance was something else. Breath control should not have been an issue then since he was sitting down. I remember being happy and pissed at the same time at that performance.

Ironically, that's one of my favorite performances of his. It was hilarious but at the same time cool lol

In terms of Michael being a legitimate live performer, we'd already reached the end of the road by that point.

I sooo wanted him to perform but thought he was killing it from the chair. It was quite funny especially the way the audience seemed to be enjoying it. But even back then I think I had suspicions. hmmm

Remember the Time is one of the last songs that really truly makes me feel warm and fuzzy from MJ. I love that song like it was from Off the Wall. Him finally performing it was a big deal but then there was that minor setback. wink

Folks, its a notorious fact that he's been struggling with laryngitis for years, even before some of you were born. He's been singing and performing non-stop, since he was five. What do you expect. Besides do you know of any performers that can dance and sing at the same time constantly?

I don't really buy that. Gladys Knight been singing since she was five herself, voice still sounds powerful in her 60s as it did decades ago. I blame it on MJ's screams, yelps, dancing, nodal problems in his nostrils due to surgery and the wear and tear from 25 years of world tours.

Yes, those are contributing factors, too. You know its amazing that Prince doesn't have this problems with all the singing and gyrating he's been doing onstage, since he first came out in the 70's. Gladys Knight, bless her but all she does is sing, and in her steady tone. My father met her in the 60's and said that she's beautiful and nice.

Hey, each artist is different. Only you can decide which ones move you and I don't knock Gladys at all. I love Sade and she doesn't dance too much.

To be honest with you, I did not know about the lupus situation until maybe a couple of years back. So I don't know the details on that. The laryngitis, that's been talked about for years.

It depends, I guess. I dig Gladys and Sade in different ways. When I wanna be moved to tears and sing while swaying side by side or going to church, I'll see Gladys. If I wanted to be moved in other areas...and still moved to tears, Sade's the one. razz

Have you ever heard of "Pearls" by Sade? To me, that's a tear jerker.

I'll check that out. I think "Is It a Crime" is a tearjerker.

Shit, for Michael, that version of Dirty Diana is great, f**ks up a few lyrics but at least it's live. I would be so amazed if he could just do one live song anymore with power.

There's one thing no one mentioned and I've gotta admit it. Though he gave a good performance, MJ looks stoned during "Dirty Diana". He struggled with drug issues, too.

Watching those is about to make me go dig in my MJ video Rubbermaid bins. Taking me back to my glorious childhood, LOL.

Here is another PHENOMENAL uptempo live vocal performance:
