Leo sayer

Does anyone remember Leo Sayer, he was this great 70s singer with songs, like the Show must go on, When I need you and you make me feel like dancing.
He had his own bizarre fashion with a perm and suspenders and he came to New Zealand 4 years ago and still had the same perm (Jewfro).

Do you guys love him or he is just a camp novelty
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

He made me feel like dancing smile

It's the only song I ever knew but I loved it back then and still like it. It's in a new compilation of 70s music I recently bought.

Leo Sayer, is the man! I have all of his songs on my ipod. I love his version, (which is the original), of the Three Dog Night track, "The Show Must Go On". My favor memories of him is his appearance on the "Muppet Show", when he sang, "When I need You" and a more personal one. Years ago, my cousin passed away from ovarian cancer. One of her last request was to get a copy of "When I Need You", so that she could play it while she "tried" to get better. Well, to make a long story short, that was the last song that she played on the night she died. Every time I hear it, I think of Marjorie.

Great I have a new background for my computer. His breakthrough was actually in early 1974 with a song called The Show must go on, which got to #2 in the UK and Australia. He was born Gerald Hugh Sayer in the UK in 1948 and moved to Australia in the 1960s, but later moved to the US as his career took off. Theres no info on his sexuality but hes possibly straight and hes not Jewish

I found out some more, he only moved to OZ in 05 and his current partner Donatella manages him, his first wife was Janice whom he was with until 1985 when they divorced, he met Donatella the next year. His other big hit was moonlighting (and yes hes not Jewish, his family are Roman Catholic like the Richard Simmonses), Jewish sounding names but not Jewish

He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother some time ago and came across as such a prat. He did himself no favours at all.
Is there anybody else who has slightly mysterious bruises?
