Are you sure that you are getting albums from Indeep and Freeeze? If so, they are rare because I thought they only released 12 Inch singles.

I borrowed the 12 Inch from a DJ friend of mine and burned it on a CD. I have all the other tracks from that compilation except for the last track by Sweat Band. I'm wondering if it's an ass shaker. I've seen the compilation in the store but I don't want to buy it just for one song. lol

Save your pennies. It's a good compilation, but I wouldn't buy it for that one song.

I bought it because I didn't have Kano, Set It Off and a few others. If it makes a difference, it is wonderfully mastered. Rhino does a good job (to me) remastering their compilations.

Rhino's compilations are amazing.I wish they would continue with them.In recent years, they've slowed down their releases.I wanna see them continue the "Smooth Grooves" series, the "Phat Trax" series and the "Disco Years" compilations. There are so many more songs that they could use.

I agree. Have you emailed them? I have several times about different compilations and albums to reissue. They aren't as good as Legacy/Sony at releasing catalog albums. Almost everything that I have emailed Legacy requesting has been issued on cd in some way (whether it be an import or domestic cd).
