Related photos / videos Jacko leases pricey Bel Air estate Michael Jackson has signed a 12-month lease on the palatial property in the swanky Bel Air area of the city, his spokesman Tohme Tohme said.

Jackson has been staying in the estate for about a month, Tohme said. He described the property "a little bit more than an average home."

The $38million (£26million) home has seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and 12 fireplaces and a sprawling outdoor area.

Jackson, 50, relocated to the city with his three children to be closer to Hollywood and the entertainment industry, said Tohme, promising that "the second half (of his career) will be better than the first." eek

i dont believe that dr thome said such a thing. if he did he must be on the same kind of drugs that michael was on during trial. if he wants to do it better he needs to ditch hip hop producers , and sing live again and even then he cant touch his former selve

That's pretty harsh. Bad, Dangerous and History are all solid albums.

Millions of homeowners working honest jobs can't get bailed out and that weirdo can secure credit for a flat like that?

Both MJ and Prince have to deal with the "ewwww, he's creepy" factor when releasing their products. But where Prince's factor stabilized, MJ's keeps getting creepier.

MJ needs to start touring aggressively before the only venues he can book are state fairs.

There's just not that many elementary schools with performance arenas.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

why do mj fans wanna see him tour so bad, the guy looks like he can barely stand up and i know for myself i cant even stand to look at him in pictures, him onstage trying to perform is kinda creepy.

I think it was cause most liked him saying fuck the critics and coming back regardless and now he's not doing that, just being an old bag about it all. He got so many offers and kept turning them down. I really don't think he gives a damn anymore, and frankly I've lost interest myself.

Tsk tsk at the hate.

He is still the King of Pop.

Prince fans make him look bad when they trash a fellow artist given that the purple midge has ceased himself to trash said KOP.

I'm not sure why really.
I'm not an MJ fan, and he creeps me out to no end.
There are lots of reasons why I don't like him, but suffice it to say, I don't.

But let's face it--if he tours, there will be a devout, and sizable following that will pay to see his performances, especially if he humbles himself to charge MUSICOLOGY tour prices. Hell bundling his new CD with tour tickets (which he'd never do) would be lucrative too.
MJ could tour his ass off and this just might....just might.. support his lifestyle... I mean, minus the steady supply of little boys and stuff.
