Anyone into Concrete Blonde / Johnette Napolitano? I've been on a real Concrete Blonde / Johnette Napolitano kick lately. I'm listening to CB's second album - FREE right now. As a band they were sorely unerrated and Johnette spcifically is real diamond in the rough. I love her 2007 album SCARRED and her "Sketchbooks".

i love the first concrete blonde album and of course "bloodletting". i couldn't get into much of their other/later stuff. though i once saw her sing lead vocals when the talking heads got back together without david byrne, and i have to admit she sounded great singing all the classic talking heads hits.

I love "Still in Hollywood" which is a compilation of b-sides & live trax. "Ship song" which is a duet with Nick Cave is stunning. The whole album is a diamond in the rough.
