Do You Like The Smith's Music Better Or Morrissey Alone?

Kinda like a Sting and Police thing. Morrissey is the BEST EVER. His music is different without Johnny Marr and all,but he's AWESOMELY COOL... I LOVE HIM SO MUCH alongside PRINCE.... biggrin

I don't find Morrissey's music too different as a solo act. I think The Smiths catelogue is much more potent and nearly every song stands out. Moz might have as many great songs, but they're sprinkled throughout nearly 3 times as much material. I prefer The Smiths.

I prefer Morrissey's solo stuff. The Smiths are to caotic and happy for my taste.

Yo I got a VHS from 1992 called The Malady Lingers On, y'all watched this?

1. Glamorous Glue
2. Certain People I Know
3. Tomorrow (Morrissey song)
4. We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
5. My Love Life
6. You're The One For Me, Fatty
7. Sing Your Life
8. Pregnant for the Last Time

Looks like it was rereleased on DVD too.

I can separate them pretty easily from one another. I like the smiths N I like Moz. I think if moz had just did a re thread of the smiths stuff when he first went solo i would have gotten bored. But he seemed to interject more humor into his lyrics which I found refreshing at that time from the morbid loving smith lyrics.
