jimmy jam and terry lewis as musicians we all know that jimmy jam and terry are great producers.
but what about their musician side? terry lewis sounds like good in the pocket bass player, what about jimmy jam? i never knew who played what on time live peformances. keyboard lines by monte and jimmy i couldnt notice a diffrence. jimmy and terry play on the songs they produce right? please discuss and point to the songs where i can hear their "minneapolis sound" | |

Don't get it twisted. Jimmy and Terry are tight. Years ago I heard the 80's demos that they did for The Human League and Janet and they were killin' it. It was just those 2 playing tunes w/ no vocals.
Jimmy can program and play layers of cool synth chords and Terry can hold his own on bass and rhythm guitar. Definetly underrated in The Time. | |
