He's still doing music and I think he has a radio DJ in the UK

you can see clips of him in the BBC special "The Essential Michael Jackson"

This along with "Too Late", are still in heavy rotation on my Ipod. Great songs, that defined my teen years especially, "Too Late". It reminds me so much of the relationship between my mom and dad.

If someone said they didn't like this song, I would stop being their friend right then and there.

You can tell he was influenced by Michael Jackson on this cut.

Not just vocally, either.

The way he danced was very reminscent of the "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" video.

Even the suit he was wearing was straight up 1978 era Michael Jackson.

Classic song, VERY cheesy video! lol

This video was just a promo. Not sure if there was ever a proper video made for the song

WOW! What a flashback! I used to love this song, even though KJLH in Los Angeles played it like 3 times an hour! But what a scary time this was to be young and living in Hollywood, everyone still trying to have fun, while friends were dropping like flies all around us. The early 80's wasn't anyone's joke! Thanks to jams like this, there are at least some good memories to recall.

What are you saying is the difference between a "promo" and a "proper video" in 1982?

This song had such an affect on me due to the fact that I lived those words, as a kid. While still very hard to listen to, it in a weird brings me comfort now as an adult.

Brand Nubian did a rap version of too late with a strong message
for 1998's foundation album.
