It's a really good album nod

FYI the album is not in this style (only one piano ballad). Poker Face is actually an uptempo dance track.

In related GaGa news... its being reported on an other site they have chosen the third single to follow up Poker Face as being Lovegame and remixes are currently in the works.

Ballsy move considering the lyrical content for radio. but great song1

I'm not going to any of her piano recitals, but she can sing.

Most of the manufactured pop bitches thrown at us today would run screaming from the studio or fail in spectacular fashion at this exercise.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Ditto, her cd is excellent! Brilliant even IMO. I've been tellin everyone about her cd--which I just bought on Monday eek I havent stopped playing it since---and even when I'm not playing it, her songs keep playing over and over again in my head...even when I wake up in the morning, one of her songs will be playing...in my head! eek Yeah, her melodies and hooks are that catchy lol They really stick in your head.

I love her vocals too, kind of a mix of Gwen Stefani and Christina A. but Gaga has a unique style of her won and she puts her own mark on her songs--she's not a biter/swagger-jacker/copycat. Musically, her songs are a throwback to the rock and disco eras of the 70's and early 80's--with some current urban sounds mixed in. Love her!!! I highly recommend her cd because it's def. one of the best cds of 2008-09 hands down.

Standout Tracks (according to NaughtyKitty):

Paparazzi
Just Dance
Lovegame
Poker Face
The Fame
Brown Eyes
Summerboy
Boys Boys Boys
Starstruck

Why dont you get some new lingo for a comback, try reading the other 10,000 posts i have done on ARTISTS that have more than one good album. Lets chill on the gaga hype like she is she walking on water, i have heard this crap so mny times before with every artist that has a catchy album, example amy whinehouse....wheres she? never recording again. A year or two ago everyone was talking "genius" over that band _____ (just fill in the blank). People are too quick to hand over the fucking genius keys.

Oh Ryan Adams,Joni mitchell,REM,Magne F, Mellencamp,Michael Hutchence/Inxs,Rashaan Patterson,Queen,Stevie Wonder etc...guess they dont count.

As for a-ha if you know anything about "the rest of the world", you would know if it wasnt for their "team" behind them since 1990, you would have no Radiohead,Coldplay, or Keane, or any of the other bands that have bitten of Coldlplay and Radiohead.

That video is a lot more intriguing than Just Dance, which I just heard the other day for the first time. I'd heard so many good thing, that I was kinda shocked to hear that it sounds like some Rihanna throwaway--didn't get it at all.

But this piano thing is freaky, and she can actually sing, huh?

I would say she's sexy. Have you guys seen her without make-up? What a difference? But man, she's got a body on her! I'll tell ya that. As far as the singing goes, I saw one live performance that was jolting. I couldn't believe how hard she was breathing. She sounded out of breath before she even started. It was deplorable.

Well, it's nice to have a teen idol who can sing, play and write, but based on the evidence of that clip she is, alas, an irritating poser. Pretentious as hell.
