Donald Trump’s bold taunt that 50 Cent’s MTV reality series “The Money and the Power” will fail initially seemed cruel. But now it seems like Trump was speaking prophetically.

Recently, MTV cancelled the “Apprentice”-esque show after only six episodes due to poor ratings. “Power” centered around 14 kids competing in goofy tasks to win 50’s affection, $100,000, and a shot at becoming a mogul.

In November, Trump scoffed at the idea of the entire show. “It was a copy of ‘The Apprentice,” Trump said. “It will fail because he's not Trump.”

50, never the one to back down from lightweight beef, replied, “What's the matter with Donald?' He's got a little age on him. He must be getting senile.” Apparently not.

MTV has said that just because they showed 50 the door, doesn’t mean they’re going to give up on new reality shows with a similar theme.

"Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment," Brian Graden, MTV Networks' vice president of entertainment, told the New York Post. "Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves."

Never saw it but heard it was pretty bad.

Wow! When a show like that gets canceled in the middle of airing, it must have been really tanking. It looked awful!

Good. Now if they would just cancel the rest of their programming.

I mean arent there enough of this bullshit shows already? first we had that Donald Trump bullcrap that america lapped up like crackheads, then everyone and their mother had a "elimination" type show, then VH1 had that circus clown flav and his search for love, then a spinoff with that nightmare NewYork drag queen facelifted fake breasts ghetto clown, then Charm school with 18 different spinoffs and that FAKE ASS Rikki wanna be a rock dude from MTV's graveyard. And now Ray J, which will be cancelled mark my words, this dude is the only clown that could LOSE money on a sex tape, get sued, then have to get a record deal to pay it off, and sign a porno deal then get canned from that too.

Now all they have to do is cancel every other shitty, fake "reality" show, put on a video or two, and I MIGHT start watching MTV again!!!

I wanna see Ray-J's reality show to see post crack Whitney. Her and Brandy are ratings gold.
