I'd think he was okay if I can understand half of what comes out his mouth, even if I DO understand what he's trying to say, it's like he makes it out his way to sound as mumbled like a Dick Tracy character. lol

This is what Rolling Stone said:

""Next time you mention Pac, Biggie or Jay-Z/Don't forget Weezy Baby," croaks Lil Wayne, and he earns that audacious boast. The most eagerly anticipated hip-hop album of the decade is also the best, from the joyously silly Auto-Tune-on-steroids chart-topper, "Lollipop," to the uproarious "Dr. Carter," in which Wayne dons scrubs to revive moribund hip-hop. The dadaist punch lines hit their marks, but Lil Wayne's greatness lies not just in what he says, but in the way he says it — the virtuoso variations in mood and meter, tone and timbre that mark the MC, as much as any singer, as one of 21st-century pop's great vocal stylists."
That motherfucker done lost his rabid ass mind. disbelief

Can anyone tell me any song that is on the level that Biggie, Pac or Jigga has done?

cool When i saw him perform on Saturday Night Live... i thought to myself if this guy is the best rapper then who do they consider the worst. I mean come on the best? He should not be in that catagory at all. "Biggie" Yeah! "Jay Z" Yeah! "Lil Wayne" Hell No! I would not even put him in a top 100 list. cool

You don't have to agree with all the hype to enjoy an album.

Or is that what is ruining it, you expected to hear the greatest rapper?

Like I said before, for me Cinnie, the fact he made anti-gay comments on his previous album is enough to not even want to listen to anything he puts out. due to circumstances beyond my control, I heard Lollipop. It's gawd awful to me.

I like A Millie in a guilty pleasure kind of way. It's like he can be funny but he's no Ludacris in terms of clever and funny rhymes.

Lollipop is good but WAY too long.

They like him because he is ignorant and I honestly think critics and the record companies love pumping up an ignorant black man as a form of entertainment. Once his 15 min are up they will go out and find another one. It is really sad when so many talented artist are ignored because they do not go around conducting themselves like ignorant ass clowns.

Exactly! Speak the fucking truth dammitt!

Exactly, minstrel ass bullsh*t acts, with the big grin and the gold metal across the front of the mouths. spewing bad grammar, and tap dancing across the stage with their pants hanging off their ass, while dropping to their knees, with one hand holding their crotch, pretending they have a 12 inch penis to hold up that weighs 40 lbs, and jumping up and down the stage, waving the other arm with all five fingers spread out, like they're throwing dice, while they are raping the minds of our youth with their nonsense bullsh*t...and it is sad that some of our youth today actually see these fools as role models ...there I said it.

Yeah well, critics have been ROOTING for a Britney Spears comeback.

Its a lil' late to be worrying about their sanity.

I can understand the principle, but you'd discount all but 10 percent of rappers. Including most of the best MCs and many of the conscious MCs.
