Titled 'Cream City',it was released in 1978...the same year that Prince and Rick James released their debut albums.Unfortunately,Aalon's album got lost in the shuffle.The single "Rock N'Roll Gangster" did receive some airplay on R&B radio but the album was largely ignored.I actually saw Aalon a few years ago,at one of our annual "Super R&B oldies" concerts.

I remember thinking I had found a classic when I finally stumbled across Aalon's album after many years of searching.

It's not bad but not as legendary as I was led to believe based on what I had read about it.
