i've broken up with mj for now

I had no feeling when I listened to him earlier today after months and months and didn't get excited at all when people brought him up the way I normally did though I was able to stay calm while talking about him.

Maybe what they say about people losing interest in music after 25 is true....I still respect his work and what he did for music, but now I don't feel emotionally attached anymore and realized that i was dealing with a lot of emotional pain I've been repressing for years and it became an addictive form of escapism.

Donna Green could learn from me, it's not too late....

why must jacko do this to people? They love him so much and then what goes up eventually goes down and we are so bitter and mean but still have a thing for him without realizing

and why is it that we still look for mj in other people or ourselves? I'm still listening to singers that remind me so much of him or that I can't help but subconsciously relate to him.

And sometimes when I don't want to talk about him he comes up in the most random places, and I'm seeing more and more people wonder if he will tour, when did the interest come back ? Or maybe now that I think everyone is cool with him, it's not cool for me anymore cause I like to be different

I don't know why you get so hooked into dude like that. I have one period like that and I let that go. Now if Mike comes out with something I'll support it no doubt because I still call myself a fan. However, other music had my interest for a minute.

same with me, it's like one minute I love him like I'm married to him and the next I hate his guts and want him to fucking disappear out of my mind, and it's in extremes like all the way and all the way down, kind of like bipolar

I'm still a fan but I'm moving on though it's hard and I have relapses. I do know my life can't revolve around buying everything, listening to his music, performing his music anymore, it seems repetitive and boring now and I can see why Justin got annoyed and started calling Fred Astaire his inspiration cause he was annoyed that people couldn't see him, they could only see him copying someone else, in the beginning. I think I'm the same way too. I can't help being pale with dark hair and big eyes, people used to jokingly say I look like mj (most people think I'm so gorgeous and should model though) if he came up and I used to get all excited, now I just get annoyed at the thought of anyone thinking that and not saying so, and want to be seen as myself, even if I wear something stylish and people think of mj, I don't do it cause he does anymore, I do it cause I like it but it's so hard to get away if people are reminded. I wore a red jacket/top from Guess cause it was so cute, but anyone can wear a red jacket. I don't exactly want people looking at me and thinking I'm odd cause they think he is. And for the record, he looks like me, I don't look like him! I wasn't the one who changed myself and got a disease....

and no, I don't go around talking about mj wherever I go, at all. Maybe for a little while when I was younger, but things just start up around me almost like the universe is dumping it on me. One time I was babysitting a bunch of people at a group home and this kid randomly started moonwalking and then looked at me strange, I just commented that was very random cause before that we were doing an activity. I know I sound mental. I used to think shi.t like this happening wherever I went and being in the right place and right time was really cool, now it scares me, I'm not sure what the universe is trying to tell me.

But i didn't say anything about him and met that person for the first time and he did that. Another time I was helping a few people with english & math and one randomly started singing beat it and then said I look like him, I just kinda snickered, and I was wearing a skirt and purple shirt for god's sake! I don't bring him up at all and people do everytime I forget him, whether it's those I know or people I barely know that don't know much about me, that's what freaks me out. And it's not what I'm wearing or anything either, I don't know what it is but it's really weird. Maybe it sounds like obsession but I don't feel obsessed with him or his music right now unless it's second nature, but there's something going on and I don't like it and want to put a stop to it.

and yeah I'm all female

could it mean I'm destined for something? going to a tour? meeting him? musical collaboration? something else and that's why all these things are happening but it hasn't come to fruition yet? I don't think sitting around on message boards is getting me anywhere though so that can't be it

Who knows? But that does sound real weird that you would be somewhere and they'll just give you MJ references.

this happened a year ago and even a few years ago, it wasn't all the time, it was just once in awhile. And trust me, I think it's very bizzare too and scares the shit out of me.

Could it be a question of age?? I don't know how old you are but i would guess that most people who feel that way for a singer are less than 25 years.o???
I have met people hooked up on MJ during the Bad era, they were proper nuts. There is another singer that I find have the same effect on people somehow in a different manner is Bob Marley, i met people who could actually talk like him, dress like him, listen only to him. Nobody made fun of them, i wonder why???
