I don't think it's confirmed yet.

However, I do know (from a pretty reliable source) he has been in talks with them and has been doing some practicing.

That's going to be very VERY interesting indeed. Either way, I'm going to be watching cause Dancing with the Stars is my show!
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

He shouldn't do it. Because hes not some stupid starlet... he's a legend. Honestly, he looks goofy when he's dancing... That's not how I want Stevie to be seen.

She's not one of the dancers. They might team him up with Cheryl or Julianne.

Could he do it?
Not saying that he can't,
but wouldn't that be pretty tough for him,
especially if he had to catch the female dancer?

That's not funny! Stop picking on the genius. He can't help that he's blind. This topic is insulting and anyone who thinks this is funny is sick too.
Peace and be wild!

Stevie Wonder actually tells the best blind jokes. As for Dancing With The Stars, let's see if they last as long as Stevie Wonder, whose career at last count is approaching 50 years!

what was supposed to be funny? I expressed my concerns about that. I bet some of the viewers don't even know 5 Stevie songs. If they had to see him dance he would be remembered as... don't think about it.

I cringe at this - hoping it doesn't happen. Sure I'm all about overcoming stereotypes and am sure blind men can dance, but to parade him around on a show like that is just exploitation, sensationalism, and stupid. Granted it may be the only way to get anyone over the age of 30 with music talent on television (since MTV and VH1 don't play videos anymore), wouldn't a better choice be to put the man on 'American Idol' as a mentor/judge instead?

I agree formerly, maybe a guest appearance or something, but to have him as a contestant just doesn't seem appropriate.

Well, his blindness didn't stop him from learning the piano? It's all about FEELING the right moves and steps, man.

But honestly,. don't you think it would look awful to SEE him dance? Without disrespect. But he looks goofy when he's dancing. He's not as thin as in 1972. Which is fine, but he won't look cool when he's dancing.

"It'd be fun, it'd be fun," Wonder told Steve Valentine, the host of Los Angeles' syndicated Valentine in the Morning radio program during a Wednesday morning appearance on the show. "I've watched it before -- no really -- I've checked it out before. But I've heard some talk of us possibly doing that, so we might."

However, the singer also said that nothing had yet been confirmed and that the idea has only been offered as a possibility.

"It's not impossible, but right now it's just a thought," he said. "I think it'd be fun."

Wonder added that he had been working on losing weight, but -- after Valentine's assertion that the dancers on the ABC show often lose weight -- added that he wouldn't want to go on the show to lose weight.

"I don't wanna be having to go there to have to lose my weight," Wonder said. "I'll give it a few more months, I'll come on it and it'll be cool."

When asked by Valentine if he knew how to dance, Wonder joked back that he didn't think it would be an issue.

"C'mon... if I have seven children, I gotta be able to dance right?" Wonder said with a laugh. "You know what I'm sayin.'"
