Name ONE underrated artist, vocalist, etc...

Gladys Knight

She never seems to get as much recognition and praise as the others in her era
Under certain circumstances, urgent circumstances, desperate circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again.... Cyndi Lauper.

Are you kidding me? Gladys gets her props, especially from those in her era. She's alright ... and still got her pipes in order. She can still sing like she sang back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. wink

Monica. One of the best female vocalists I've ever heard. She just sings a lot of shitty songs (her producers fault). But she is underrated or should I say underestimated.

I don't know about most underrated ever, but he's definitely a great overlooked singer/ songwriter.

Sam Sparro has not yet received the US exposure he deserves. Best New Artist in my book hands down.

I've always thought that Shakira was underrated. She's a natural Hispanic/Lebanese beauty who adds a Middle Eastern flavor to her style and music. That's called being original. I have to say this, but I see the similarities in her style and Beyonce's. I know they did a song and video together.

I saw her perform live a few years ago and her voice almost brought me to tears. It's pure and beautiful.
