Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Yes, the Muppet Band. 
I really feel that, had they been flesh and blood instead of felt and wool they could have been really succesful. It's really too bad the people who provided the music and vocals for this awesome, awesome band never cut a record themselves. I think it would have done well. I am SO happy with the fact they started releasing the season boxes with the entire shows on them.
The band was indeed groovy and rocked when they had to. I love the Muppet's creators' view on adapting music; they did it with a wink or with love and respect or all. Props to Jim Henson and his team. |
