You have artists right now that can sing and play circles around Alicia Keys,and the true blue artists are out of the game. Though I am not a fan, I have heard a few songs that I liked. (because she doesn't even develop said melodies half the time) these unknown artist develop, orchestrate and write their own compositions and lyrics and even if popular opinion may think their lackluster, the fact that they have the aforementioned traits, makes them artistically superior to Alicia. she has the help of Mark Batson, Linda Perry, MArsha Ambroscious, Kerry Brothers (who's really responsible for alot of theivery,) Their joint recording studio in Long Island consists of one keyboard, drum machine and sampler, I know I've been there. my main problem is they steal not borrow... they down right steal So it doesn't matter if you like it or not, your really liking their interpretation of someone elses music!
