That was sort of my point, anyway. Nowadays, image and looks taking precedence over talent. Go back twenty something years, and I don't think she would have gotten a record deal if it wasn't for the family name. Not unless she hooked up with the likes of Prince or Rick James. LaToya would be equivalent to Ashanti if she were out now, but with a little bit more rhythm.

Her only decent single was "Nighttime Lover" and that's mainly because her brother Michael wrote and produced it,and even sings backup vocals.

Ok, this isnt a rare performance but its a "classic" from Latoya nonetheless lol--just watch the video and you'll see. This video is a parody in and of itself. ROTFL @ Toya as a tough biker-chick Campy, silly video but I'm sure at the time she did it she thought she was being all fierce and tough
