Don´t really know what it is but that album wasn´t really that memorable, in my opinion.
Other than that, I like all of them. She also has quite a few non-album songs out there, often b-sides or bonus tracks. I agree...Lovers Rock didn't make an impact. I think that I listened to it once or twice when I bought it, and hasn't been listened to since. I remember that when it came out, DIDO had just burst on the scene. IMO the "Sade" sound was one-upped by DIDO for mainstream radio, which is why Lovers Rock was ignored. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

[Edited 1/3/09 19:36pm] Thanks for this. I´ve never seen it. So cool. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Love Sade! Can't wait for a new album
She never disappoints...Though, I'm not really a lover of that live album (too much backround noise) If you will, so will I

Some of these are really nice - I only had a handful of songs from Sade previously.
That live version of It is a Crime is amazing (she looks like Mayte there?!), and Cherish the Day is nice. I've just found a live album on amazon from 2002 pretty cheap - looking forward to it.

Who likes Sade's version of "Why Can't We Live Together" or Timmy Thomas original version? Or her version of "Please Send Me Someone To Love" or Percy Mayfield's version? [Edited 1/8/09 6:20am]
