lol Eight and a half years, to be precise. The last time I saw him in concert was either in 2000 or 2001 and he gave a great performance. Don´t count him off yet. Remember his record label problems, the accident and the substance abuse.
Alan Leeds said he had lots of material, it´s just a matter of timing and getting the right contract and record label. Give him a few weeks in the gym with a personal trainer and he´ll be alright.
He´s done a lot of guest appearances on other people´s albums, so I guess he´s not that lost at all.
I still have faith in him wink .
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Ms PATTI LABELLE, whom to me is one of the greatest vocalist to ever walk the planet.. yet she has had very few #1 HITS..

Although she has a strong following.. she never crossed the barrier to superstardom!

Yes, she is a star..but PATTI herself has said that she feels she should have been bigger.

i.e. Patti's "If you ask to me" which she released first with moderate success while later, Celine Dion released this song and BLEW UP..

I think alot of this has to do with the magnitude of Patti's voice.. and her being an African American woman. Yet Aretha Franklin who is a gifted artist but does not have anywhere near the vocal range as PATTI is still a much bigger Superstar.

In my mind, Patti is a national treasure. Maybe I'm just bias.. but she is the GREATEST of the great in my book!
