Tom Morello The Nightwatchman - The Fabled City TV On The Radio - Dear Science George Clinton - Gangsters of Love what's that miles in india disc? is that a miles davis release? a concert? i haven't seen that one before. can you tell me more about it? i've seen tom morello/the nightwatch man live two years ago and eventhough i've always despised ratm, i went to watch his show and i was thoroughly entertained and impressed. loved his stripped down material and his vibe. great performer and great material. i'll check this new album out. keep seeing tv on the radio on all year end lists and i've never heard any songs by them. been meaning to go onto youtube and listen to some of their stuff. but perhaps it's better to just get this entire album since it has made it's way onto so many best off lists. very curious what all the fuss is about. lastly, i forgot all about that george clinton album listened to the early release of some tracks on myspace or some place and loved what i was hearing. looks like i'll be doing some shopping next week and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

It precipitated a live concert in LA and NY and an HBO live concert will be out in 2009. I've always dug RATM and just followed up on Morello after Audioslave broke up. I will admit TVOTR is hard to get into. I forgot to link in a live in-store from AMOBEA records EP that makes 'em more accessible.I'll do that later on tonite. I have to say that GC record is mediocre. I bought cuz it I'm a completist. test

Which do you recommend the most? I'm very biased towards "black rock", so anything from Living Colour, Earl Greyhound, Ben Harper, Tom Morello, King's X or TV ON THE RADIO gets my highest recommendation. The Al Green is the only piece of real honest r & b I spent my money on. I already panned the George Clinton above. I didn't mention Danielia Coton nor Family Stand. They were notable, but they didn't hit the West on my schedule. test

And there's an even better mix of that out there. When Sly Stone & El DeBarge got "Akorned" with that auto-tune I said, "I'M OUT!!!" tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I like Living Colour alot and I've been meaning to listen to more TV on Radio How was the Tom Morello album, I tend to enjoy his guitar playing If you will, so will I
