Help me with this song folks? there was a song that came out in the mid to late 90s by some one hit wonder band. i cant remember the name of the band or song but the hook was a BB King vocal sample. It was a huge hit and i think it had something about phone booths in it or the video.

Primitive Radio Gods was a 1996 project by a guy named Chris O'Conner who played all the instruments himself. The album title is Rocket on the Columbia label.
Song is called Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth With Money in My Hand and you're right, it's an awesome song. Warning though: it's the only song on the album that employs that style. If you're wanting more like that one it's not there. Maybe you can find it as a single download. | |
